Welcome to South Bay Ink

This is an informal little community of writers who are looking for honest feedback on their work. We are based in the South San Francisco Bay Area; once we've got a strong membership, we'll be meeting in person once a month to discuss manuscripts, queries, and the writing life (or maybe just to drink a lot of coffee). The primary goal of the group is to keep motivation high and to ensure that group members are turning out quality work with strong publication potential.

We welcome authors of all genres (fiction, non-fiction, books, magazine articles, short stories, poetry, whatever). The only prerequisite you need is a sincere desire for honest feedback on your work. We'd like to see all our members get published, so we also welcome any dialogue that will help us to achieve this goal. Feel free to share your ideas about the business side of writing, self-publishing, traditional publishing, marketing, query writing, or anything else you think deserves discussion.
